- YouGov’s BrandIndex ranks perception of UAE retailers in run-up to Christmas
- Géant and Body Shop show biggest improvement in Buzz category
- Spinney’s and Shoemart surge in “Value for Money” category
BrandIndex highlights Géant and Body Shop as the UAE retailers which have shown the most improvement in their Buzz (word of mouth) Score in the run up to Christmas (11th- 25th December) with an uplift of 9.4 and 7.8 points respectively. Coming in a close third is Debenhams, witnessing a 7.7 point improvement. The retailers were assessed by UAE consumers using YouGov’s Daily BrandIndex service, which asks respondents, "Have you've heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth, was it positive or negative?" in order to calculate a brand’s Buzz score.
Spinney's & Shoemart, showed the most improvement in the “Value for Money” indicator, with an improvement of 18.3 points from Spinney's and 11.8 points from Shoemart during the same time period.
